BCSIT program is designed to produce IT professional managers and entrepreneurs by providing students with sound conceptual foundations and practical skills in the various areas of information systems, computer technologies, and management.

Curricular Structure

The BCSIT is a four-year program structured in eight semesters. A student needs to complete 127 credit hours of coursework, project work, and internship for graduation. Besides lectures, the classes are facilitated by case studies, group discussions, project assignments, field visits, class presentations, and other pedagogies. To develop communication and interpersonal skills, students are emphasized to participate in class activities, group discussions, and individual presentations.

Admission Eligibility Criteria and Scholarship

Interested Candidates in BCSIT programs can apply after fulfilling the following eligibility criteria:

  • Minimum 12 years of formal schooling
  • CGPA of 1.8 (on a 4.0-point scale) or 45 percent grades (minimum Grade ‘D’ on individual subjects) in any +2 stream
  • Admission tests and interviews.

Document Requirements

  • Copies of all Academic Transcripts (SEE/SLC onward)
  • Copies of all Character Certificates (SEE/SLC onward)
  • Original Migration Certificate of Last Degree
  • Copy of the Equivalent Certificate (If any Academic Degree froma Foreign University)
  • Copy of Citizenship
  • Two Copies of Recent Passport Size Photographs

Scholarships Scholarships are granted for deserving students based on CGPA of NEB exam and Apollo Entrance Performance.

Evaluation System

Apollo International College follows Pokhara University’s evaluation system to measure students’ academic performance. The system is as follows: Internal Evaluation Fifty percent (50%) weightage is given to internal evaluation. Internal evaluation will be conducted by the concerned college faculty members. External Evaluation (Semester End Examination) Fifty percent (50%) weightage is given to external evaluation. The semester-end examination is conducted by office of the controller of examination, Pokhara University.

Grading System

Pokhara University follows a four-point letter grade system. The letter grades awarded to students will be as follows:
